Sheet Metal Guy Blog and RSS Feeds

Cincinnati, OH, August 17, 2006 Sheet Metal Guy, LLC is now offering another way to communicate more effectively and efficiently with the sheet metal community, www.SheetMetalGuy.com/blog. With the number of bloggers skyrocketing, Sheet Metal Guy, LLC has decided to take advantage of this great technology to easily share quick thoughts, breaking news, brief tips, reviews, and intelligent commentary with sheet metal fabricators. Readers can then add their comments on the subject, which are also posted with the author's blog.

“There are a lot of sheet metal fabricators out there. I just want to share my sheet metal knowledge with sheet metal people who need to get their job done," says Joe Bucalo, president of Sheet Metal Guy, LLC. "Hopefully the new blog will allow me to address common questions and concerns that I have heard over the years.”

The Sheet Metal Guy Blog is hosted by
Mr. Bucalo, the founder and President of Sheet Metal Guy, LLC. He has over 30 years experience in the sheet metal fabrication industry, working with and developing software products to change the manufacturing world. When CAD was just beginning on the PC, Mr. Bucalo played a major role in the development of ProFold, the first truly automatic 3D sheet metal unfolding program for press brake parts. When most people were using a wall chart of bend deductions, Mr. Bucalo was promoting the use of the k-factor for more accurate flat patterns. Mr. Bucalo later paved the way for graphics based sheet metal CAM when he introduced ProFab, which allows the direct transfer of geometry from CAD to CAM. Mr. Bucalo continues to work with sheet metal fabricators to solve their design and manufacturing problems. He has a thorough knowledge of the most popular CAD programs and understands the issues faced by sheet metal fabricators.

Blog is short for "weblog," a frequently updated journal that provides a way for the Blog owner to publish their thoughts and ideas. Blogs allow an informal discussion by the author with the readers. Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds allow for the display of new headlines within a news reader or web browser.
